Citybus services are provided by TamilNadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) - Coimbatore and several private operators. All parts of the city and the suburbs are connected with citybuses
Gandhipuram has a dedicated bus terminal for citybuses, and it acts as the hub for citybus operations. Ukkadam and Singanallur bus terminals have dedicated lanes for citybuses.
Five major connectivity points in the city are Gandhipuram, Singanallur, Ukkadam, Railway station and Townhall. Each citybus route would touch atleast one of these points.
